NAUTI-BITES

SMOKED SALMON CAMILIAS WITH CAPERS, TOMATOS AND SPRING ONIONS

Herbed cream cheese blended with fresh tomatoes, spring onions and tangy capers transform fresh smoked salmon into a southern flower treat. Multi-seed crackers provide extra nutrients and fiber and the salmon provides protein and is rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Add a sprinkle of Toni’s seasoning for a punch of cajun spice. These nauti-bite camelias can be made ahead and refrigerated for several hours prior to serving alongside sparkling water, spritzers, sparkling rose or white wine.
Preparation Instructions:

Place the 12 crackers evenly on a serving dish. Add ½ tsp of cream cheese to each cracker. Fold over each of the 2 inch green onions to form leaves and place on top of the cream cheese on the cracker. Place one flower on top of the green onion leaves on each of the crackers. Add ¾ tsp of chopped tomatoes to the center of each camelia flower. Sprinkle 3-5 capers on top of each camelia flower.
